In Philadelphia superintendent identifies schools he intends to close, Kristen A. Graham talks about how 37 school buildings are closing and relocating. They are also closing down buildings to save money and they are taking academics into consideration.
The article includes quotes and some facts. The Superintendent William R. Hite said, "If we don't take these actions now, we actually have no money to spend." One fact that I feel that got my attentions and also stood out to me was that the district has lost more than 50,000 students to charter schools in the last decade.
I feel that it would be a nice idea for schools to close down to save money. I also think that it is a brilliant idea because they wouldn't have to worry about paying bills after bills , after bills when they could just relocate students and save lots of money. Lastly, I believe that this plan will work for the better even though people probably be complaining about the new change but I do believe they'll get used to the new change and they will realize that school closing down can be for the better for the students and for the school itself.
This article has left me with some unanswered questions. Will this change bring more violence? what can students do to make this change more easier? Will the environment be more safer? I wished that my questions can be answer in the near future.

ALL WORK NO PLAY
In All Work No Play Entin, spoke about the problems of how kids are anxious and depressed because they have no free time to play. He also said talks about the way they feel and why they need more free time to play.
This article stated some facts about this problem. One fact that that I found and stood out to me was that compared to "1981, children in 1997 spent less time in play and had less free time". There was also another fact that stood out to me was that "lack of play affects emotional development, leading to the rise of anxiety, depression, and problems of attention and self control."
I think that it is good that children spend more time studying and working than playing because education is a very special and a important part in a child life. However, I don't feel that children will be depressed or anxious because children's know that their whole life don't depends on just free play because they know that they have to go to school and get their education.
I really connected to this article because it reminded me of when I was a little girl the reason I said that is because when I was a little girl I was always playing games like hands games , going outside and playing with my friends , playing ropes but I always knew that It will come to a time when I will have to stop and get serious with my school work, but I do wish that free plays don't affect nor mess with their education.

Guns Regulation
In Do We Have The Courage To Stop This? Nicholas D. Kristoff explores the problem of gun regulation talks about how the people are regulating other non important laws, instead of focusing on the big idea about guns.
This article includes some interesting facts. There was some facts that I think was more interesting and important such as children at the ages of 5 to 14 in America are 13 times as likely to be murdered with guns, etc. There was also a fact that I found interesting which was guns kill 30,000 Americans a year. I feel that guns are too easy to get to now and days and I feel that they need to come up with a new law for the guns policy because too many people are losing their lives to immaturity.
I feel that people that killed others for no reasons don't sometimes be in their right minds , but still that don't means that its okay for them to do what they do. I also feel that those that kills others should not have assess to guns in any type of way but it will be more easier if the law really changed. At least those that do have guns should not put it in a place that they know someone else could get to easier. I still believe that guns should not be allowed because their are innocents that have been killed by it.
I do believe that this article reminded me of the recent shooting that just happened in Colorado. There were two guys that killed innocent children and adults just because they were supposling not in their right mind I called that being irresponsible but mostly foolish. These two incidents make me realize that life is really short.
From what I read from this article and what I been thinking already before reading this article is that its not too safe living in this innocent world of ours. I feel that people is going to be scared now to leave their house because they might be afraid that they might get shot. I feel that we live in a free bullets society because their are bullets flying everywhere and that just terrifies me every time I think about it.
This article left me with some unanswered questions such as when are the laws going to change about this gun issues? Why are the government not taking this gun issues serious? Why are people so heartless now on days? Why don't people think before doing things especially bad things? I just hope that my questions can be answer in the future.
