Attention Disorder Or Not, Pills To Help In School !

In "Attention Disorder or Not.Pills to Help in School" , Alan Schwarz points out that kids in school are getting pills to succeed in school. Some of these kids dont even need the pills, they just use A.D.H.D as their excuse to keep acting out in school.

The article have quotes and opinions from doctors, a child mental-health reasearcher, and a child pyschiatrists. Dr. Michael Anderson, says that A.D.H.D is a disorder "made up" and "an excuse", because the real problem is that kids have a poor academic performance. Dr. Nancy Rappaport, a child pyschiatrist, says that they "are seeing this more and more. They are using chemical instead of doing things that are as just important to also so, sometimes more." These quotes tells that the doctors are trying to take the easy way out of knowing whats the real problams with the children that have A.DH.D.

I think that this article really didn't let the readers know the main point of it such, as giving pills to children that really didn't need the pills for A.D.H.D. Doctors were just going over bored & giving pills to children who really didn't need to be giving pills .

This article is similar to some children's that I know that missbahve everyday & find it hard to comprehens with others but the thing is nothing wrong with them they just do it to get attention such as giving pills to them that are not really needed for them.

This article left me with un-answered questions such as why were pills giving to children's that really didn't need it? I also want to know why do the doctors think that they are helping them kids by giving them pills exspecailly to thoes one's that are not in need of them? why? I just wished that someone can read my questions & answers them asap.

(Teaching Your Kids About Sex: Do's and Don'ts)

In " Teaching Your Kids About Sex: Do's and Don'ts" , Rachel Pomerance  discovered that 90 percent of being a good sex educator of your kid is being someone that they're comfortable coming to with questions. This expert  Roffman  states that "talking with your kids is protective a buffer against what goes on around them."
This article includes quotes from an expert. Deborah Roffman says, "they're seeing sex divorced from intimacy" and "from critical thinking,". This quote depicts that teens are lying about having sex. They see advertisment on t.v and want to do what they see becuase they found it good. Roofman wonders what are teens doing  these days.
I think this article is good because it tells you what parents are expected to tell their teenagers . For parents to sit down & tell their teenagers about sex is really strange to them but also releaving to the teen. The reason I said that is because some teens be wanting to let their parents know that they have a boyfriend /girlfriend but they be sacred to tell their parents because all parents thinks these days if you have a friend as a boy /girl  your sexually active & that can be true and not true.
This article has me thinking that parents try their best to keep their teenagers safe. The reason I said that is becuase if  parents don't care or love their teens they wouldnt take their time to let them know the do's and don'ts about sex. I also think that this article has me thinking that parents want all of their teens to have safe sex if they are sexually active, thats why they teach their kids about sex & how to protect them slef if they are.
Reading this article help me notice that my dad tell me things that can help me in life. The reason I said that is because I always thaught he just tell me things just to make me feel bad, but from me reading this article make me more appreciative of my dad. I am a teen myself thats why I can really relate to this article. I also think that parents should also read this article to help and quide them when they need to tell their teens anything about sex.

Studies Find More Students Cheating, With Achievers No Exception",

In "Studies Find More Students Cheating, With High Achievers No Exception", Richard Perez-Pena discovered that some of the most high achievers have cheated because they're under pressure. Some experts even say that internet access plays a big part in students' cheating, and cheating has become easy and tolerated.

The article includes quotes from professors and experts. Donlad M. McCabe says, "there have always been struggling students who cheat to survive...but more and more, there are students at the top who cheat to succeed. This quote depicts that its not only the under-achievers cheating to get ahead, its also the high achievevers who cheat to be successful.

I think cheating is kind of a way a lot of teens get through high school. Because a lot of teens wait until  someone they know is smart to do their work.. I don’t think it’s fair because teens that work hard to do their work, take their time. And the teens that cheat off of them find it easier. It’s like a bad habit, they think, if I can cheat, I don’t have to do my work.”

This article has me thinking that teachers do not take their time off knowing who cheats or who don't cheat. I don't think that its fair to those ones that work hard and actually earn the right grade for what they have wich is an A and the one's that cheat get the same grade as well. Well as for me I just think that the students that cheat need to pay me more attention in class or stay after school for more help in the class or lesson they don't understands.

This article has me left with some questions. Such as how many times a day do teens cheat? Do the teens that cheat get cought? Have the teens that actually worked for the grade gets noticed? Is there more teens cheating cheating now? Whats the highest percentage of teens cheating.

TEEN'S TEXTING

In "Texting May Be A Toll", Katie Hafner talks about how teens text everyday all day. The article also talks about how there are many cautions that comes with texting and how teens can be distracted by it.

The article includes quotes from a pediatrician and a psychologist. Dr. Martin Joffe, a pediatrician, says that texting late at night "causes sleep issues in an age group that's already plagued with sleep issues." Sherry Turkle, a psychologist, also includes that '' if something next to you is vibrating every couple of minutes, it makes it very difficult to be in that state of mind. These quotes means that texting during them times can leads to failure.
I think that texting during school hours is really bad. I said that because when students start to text in class they lose focused on what they are suppose to be doing, they dont pay any attention in class.Texting can also leads to bad grades. Late night texting can be the worse on school days becuase you can over sleep your way out class and won't get what the teachers said in class.

This article reminds me of a book called Judy B. Jones. I said that because Judy B was always a distractive little girl everything she says or does get her distractive and that's not very good. Imagine her having her own phone that can just be the worse!.
This article makes me thinks that teens are very addicted to texting . It makes me feel that teens can't live without texting someone back and I just think thats just pretty said for us young teen. I hope other teenagers like myself read read this article so they can be able to relate from it.

From what I read from this article I still have some qestions on why teens thinks that its okay to text during class or a lesson? why do teens thinks if you don't reply a person back right away makes you a slow texters? why do teens worrying about who text them or don't text them during school hours why?
